I'm new to this forum. I've just tried posting pictures of my Rainbow Bridge girl Beauty and pictures of my Dylan and it says I need to make more posts before I can post the pictures.
I'm confused! :surprised::confused:

Welcome to the Fat Cat Forum! I'm glad that you joined us here.
Sorry about that, you need to make 15 posts before you can post pictures or links. We've had problems with spammers in the past that has forced us to put the 15 post rule in effect. Good thing though is there is alot to read & post to on Fat Cat Forum, so you can make your 15 post quickly.
If you know of any other cat lovers, send them this way. I'm looking forward to seeing you online posting more with us soon. :)
Hi and welcome to the group. First I would like to say we are sorry for the lost of your Beauty. But she will be waiting for you at the rainbow bridge.
On this form you came post your picture until you post things 15 times. Then you can put your photos up. I kknow it sounds like alot but they do it to try to keep the spamers out. It is very easy to post things. There are plenty of things on the forum that your 15 posts will go fast. There are the fun topics that if you play it also counts as a post. When I joined I started at the top of the new posts and worked my way down. I even went to older posts and replied to them so it would count. Good Luck.
I own or should I say I am a slave to 3yr ols brown tabby named Lucy. I've had her for almost 3 months. I had a handicapped chihuahua which I lost to cancer in the begining of March. I actually went to a local shelter for a kitten but when I saw Lucy and she looked so scared in the cage I had to hold her. Well she nuzzled right up to my neck and started purring. Needless to say I brought her home. She was turned into the shelter that very morning. She had a nice mommy but a VERY NASTY daddy. He threatened to shot her in the shelters parking lot because she scratched her try to get her out of the car. Thanks to the girls at the shelter went out after hearing he and brough lucy inside. Poor Lucy had the hair on her back (towards her tail) all pulled out on both sides of her body. Due to the stress of that household. It has now all grown in and she is even more beautiful. Well enough of me bragging about my Lucy. I will share more stories later. Please tell me about your beloved Beautiy and Dylan. I would love to hear about them. Not only that if we talk back and fouth it will count towards your needed posts, for your photos.

Thanks for the welcome :)
About Beauty and Dylan:
Shortly after I came to where I live, I went to our local cat rescue to ask about becoming a volunteer and had a look round while I was there. There were loads of kittens in there (explosion in a kitten factory), but Beauty (she was known as Enid in the charity) she caught my eye and because she was elderly, scared and not what anyone could describe as "rehomable" in a hurry, I had a word with my family and managed to persuade them to let me bring her home.
A year passed by without any problems (with me doting on her :o ) but then she was diagnosed with kidney problems and her health went down from there :( She was diagnosed with constipation a few months after that, then we had to take her back again and again because she was getting in more and more pain and had started yowling at night, eventually she was diagnosed with having a blockage in her bladder (possibly a tumour the vet said) She was crying in pain a lot when before she just wasn't a vocal girl. She was very nervous even at the best of times so the vet said that he thought it was kinder to let her go :(
A couple of weeks before then though, a grey and white boy was brought into the charity with his brother, a tabby boy. Dylan (the grey and white) seemed to realise that Beauty was on her way out and kept trying to invite himself home, so just after we lost Beauty I gave in and brought him home. We kept his name as Dylan because he always responded to it, well he'd chosen us so it was only fair that we'd give him a chance! :D
He came home with us the day after we lost Beauty and we haven't looked back since :D
Sorry about the long post everyone :o hope it's not too long :o
You don't have to worry about long posts. There are times that we all get long. There are times we have alot to talk about too. lol

I wish I'd have known about this site when Beauty was around, though Dylan's decided this site is one of two that's his very best friend :)
The vet is Dylan's very best friend as well Dylan says :D
