In a 50+ litter Pot I have a 2 year old Eastern Cottonwood tree It grew last spring in one of my moms houseplant pots, I'm nurturing it and am going to plant in at a local Cemetery this fall.
I'm also Growing a Weeping ficus, a Mandevillia, Little Red Riding hood and a spider plant. I also have a garden of Native plants.

I will try, Have to get the tree in the ground in fall, and the Mandevillia needs a winter rest later on.

Cottonwood trees are Giants, I've heard of some getting as big as 25 feet around, 190 feet tall, and over 100 feet in branch/crown spread.
Very few trees/if any in MN grow bigger then cottonwoods.
Life span is rather short,70 to 100 on average, but with good care they can live 400 years, but oaks naturally live up and over that mark, 800 seems max, for oaks.
