I am having lots of trouble finding a good scoopable cat litter. It seems like it doesnt do very well on odor control, or its really hard to scoop out. Like it gets stuck to the bottom of the litter box! I have tried everything to cheap stuff, to fresh step. I like Tidy cat the best so far, but it has such a perfume smell that it irritates my sinuses when i scoop it!
Thanks everyone!

I've had Tidy Cat & Fresh Step. Personally with my 3 cats I prefer Fresh Step better as it seems to contain the smell better than Tidy Cat did.
I have 1 huge litter box for all 3 as I don't have alot of room for alot of litter boxes. We scoop out the litter box in the AM & then after work, then clean it out once a week totally & it seems to work well.
Although I do have problems with my 2 female cats digging to the bottom plastic of the litter box to urinate. It's such a pain because it gets stuck to the bottom like the problem you are having hun.
What you might try to solve the sticking problem is get the little bags to put on the bottom of the litter pan. That may be easier to scoop the litter up that normally gets stuck to the bottom.
Another thing I use from Tidy Cat is a refresher powder. I will put a little bit of the powder in the bottom of the litter box when I totally clean it out. Then when I start to smell a little bit of their odor I will put a couple sprinkles of that powder on the litter & it will be good until I clean it out.

I'm using FreshAire with Biofilters. It's made of two kinds of clay plus pine, and they also have one with cedar added. It's all natural and has no added fragrances, which I like because I'm allergic to perfumes. I get it at Petsmart for $12/20lb plastic bucket. Their website has a discount coupon. I use Tidy Cat, the one with long lasting odor control and it works well for me. I use one of the enclosed litter boxes so smell doesn't get TOO crazy, it also sifts which makes it slightly easier.
