Got a question for you all.
Have you ever seen your cat crying? Do you think cats can/do cry?
I mean crying real tears like we do.

No I have not yet seen one doing so.... I have come on here because about 1/2 hr ago one of our 2 cats 'saba' was run over ..her brother doesn't know it yet and I hope he does not miss her too much. We had prepared ourselves for this eventuality as she would not stop climbing over the fence to go into the neighbours garden to then go out and cross the road (3 months). We tried everything to stop her .... I don't think she suffered- as seems she was killed on the spot. We will get him a mate ASAP as he is not used to being by himself. She was only 4.

I'm sorry to hear that nenella hun! :( (((HUGS)))
I've seen tears in my cats eyes before, but I always thought it was just their eyes doing the usual tearing a bit.

I never saw our babies crying but I can feel it's sometimes hard for them to bear the heavy burden of being a domestic pet. It feels my eyes with tears.

I think cats cry. They may not cry in the sense where you see tears like we humans do, but they will cry in other ways.
Like if they are hurt, they may whine a little, meow loudly, things of that nature.
