Belly down, body tensed
Out of sight 'tween flowers and fence
So very still, a living stone
Breathing steady, all alone
Glowing eyes, deceptive slits
Tiny nose knows somthing sits
Warm and tasty, a perfect catch
The moment right it will be snatched
By razored claws it will be caught
With all the tricks mother taught
A blur of speed so very quick
It seems to us some kind of trick
One moment just a passive shape
Eager for a life to take
Next a run, a silent leap
Paws lash out, fangs bite deep
Mission done, satisfaction got
She strolls back to her sun warmed spot

I'm A PC idiot! How do I upload a photo of my cat which I already have on computer to your site? Re poem I wrote. I get so tired of all the luvvy duvvy poems about cats I thought I'd attack it from the other side. I'm a lifelong cat watcher, I go for a walk with Melanie every day as I have done with all the cats I've had. Don't say "Walkies" if you don't meanit, she'll have your arm off!

One other thing, how did "Kitten" get put above my entry or whatever it's called? Both Melanie and I are, alas, somewhat senior in years!

You have to wait until you have 15 posts in order to post a picture of your cat to the forums.

Also, if a poster wants to post a lovey dovey cat poem in our poetry forum that is their wish & they can do it.

The title of "Kitten" means you are a new member to the site, the titles will change as you post more. However, if you would like a custom user title, feel free to PM me whatever title you would like & I will change it for you.

If you have anymore questions about the site you can post a thread in the Site Suggestions forum or you can PM me, thank you.
