Litter Box Help

I have a little kitten that is pretty young still but he will not use the litter box what is the best way to get him to use it? he just goes on the floor.

Well bascially you have to put your kitten in the litter box, even if he doesn't have to go. Show him that is where he goes to relieve himself.

Make sure the litter box is in a fairly quiet place. Cats like to be relaxed when they relieve themselves. If there's alot of foot traffic or possibly a little child around the litter box to possibly scare the cat, then he may not use it as well.

When you see your kitten using the litter box, reward him with saying he's a good boy & maybe give him a treat. That way he may see that going in his litter box as a good thing, a way to get some special attention & treats too.
