When my cat urinates the smell is awful. I use Arm & Hammer litter 4 multiple cats & deodorizer. I clean his box immediately but it's still smells terrible. What can I do?

I'm not sure what you can do. Maybe try to entice him a bit with drinking more water?
It sounds like you have a good litter for him. Does he cover over his urine after he is done?

He does drink alot of water & yes he covers it when he uses his litterbox. I thought maybe because he was outside eating & drinking what he could find it was strong but after a month it's the same.

You know, it could be that his body is still adjusting to eating cat food, drinking clean water etc..
Give it a little bit more time & hopefully his urine won't smell as bad.
I know my cats I've had them a long time now & their urine does smell, but not horribly bad, so I think there will always be a smell.

I'm glad 2 report that Sneakers urine isn't smelling as bad as it was. He's getting more comfortable in the house. I'm still trying 2 get him 2 play with his toys. He plays a little, but not much.

Good hun, I'm glad to hear this. :)
It takes a good month or so for a stray cat's body to get used to eating good cat food etc.. I remember when I took in my EJ, oh WOW...was his urine & his feces bad smelling! :scared1:
Try to play with him with is toys, move them around on the floor, get him a little interested in what you are doing & he just may learn to play with them more on his own.

I've noticed the past few days, he's been playing with his toys a little. I try 2 get him interested, but he pkays on his time not mine. He's getting much more comfortable now. He's a sweetie!!!

Good, good to hear that he is doing better. The thing with cats is alot of times it takes a while for them to start trusting their new surroundings, plus their new "human".
