Odd behavior

I was sitting on my bed a little while ago & my cat was behind me. A few minutes later, he urinated on me. Why would he do something like that?

I have no clue as to why he would do that.

Maybe because he's used to being outside he is still in the thought of going wherever he wants??

He does go in his litter box right? Maybe show him more that he needs to use the litter box. Pick him up a few times a day & physically put him in his litter box, even if he doesn't have to go, he will hopefully know that is where he needs to go to relieve himself.
