Recently, my cat has been eating the wallpaper straight off of the wall.
I really can't get her to stop, and I was wondering how I should go about this, and if it's bad for her to eat.
I mean, I'm guessing it's not the best thing, considering our walls are made of asbestos, and I think they may be painted with lead paint.
But I'm just not sure how to get her to stop, because yelling doesn't work.

Yeah I for sure don't think that would be a good thing for your cat to be eating hun.

Have you tried squirting your cat with a water bottle when you see her eating the wallpaper? You could squirt then say "No, bad girl" & that could work. It may not work right away as cats are pretty stubborn.

I'll have to try that. We never actually had to use a spray bottle because she's generally well behaved, and when she wasn't, usually yelling would work.

That's like my boy EJ, he's so well behaved. When he does get something in his head that he wants to do that's not good, I can yell NO & he won't listen. Sometimes I gently tap his butt or his nose & that will stop him, although he gives me a dirty look...LOL! :D
