Cat sounds

Have you eve heard the sounds that your cat makes when it does certain things?

My male cat EJ, he will make these little bird type of sounds when he's stalking the birds from in the house. When I'm playing with him, he makes these little grunting sounds when he's really getting into the playing with me.

My female cat Lucy, she doesn't really make alot of sounds yet. She will though, when she jumps up on the bed, couch & we on on either 1, she will make this soft rumbling noise. I have to wonder if she does that to let us know that she's coming up with us.

Lucy is more of a vocal meowing cat. She will let you know when she wants something or she's not happy with whatever you are doing to her...LOL...we could be petting her & she will let us know she isn't happy. :D

That is funny, sapphire! My cat does not meow very much except for when he sees another cat outside. Every morning after my alarm clock goes off he starts this tiny meow, like kitten meow, outside my door until I get up and pay him some attention. I swear he tries to sound pitiful! He has to sleep outside of my bedroom because I am allergic. :)

Now this is funny at first I had really thought that my little Brownie was mute. Now I know that sounds bad but I had her check and she was just fine. Then after about I would say about three moths after we got her she let out loud squwaklike meow!!! From that point on she has been very vocal...lol!!!
