FYI, you guys. I just saw a Google ad on another page for CAT VIDEOS from Yahoo! and it reminded me of a very unpleasant online video experience I had a while back.
Before I found YouTube & Digg, one day I noticed Yahoo! had a special video search. So I plugged in "cats" or "cat" in the search field and pressed Search. The very first video I found showed a still of a cat on a car. Intrigued, I played the video... and saw something I could not believe and am still disgusted by to this day - a decapitation. I had to view it another time just to be sure what I thought I saw was really what it was. My stomach or heart, or both, sank, quite literally, at the shock.
Since that day I have to say that I do not watch online videos unless I know very well what they are going to display. I stick to the main websites and do not trust unknowns found by search engines. There are plenty of sites out there that are trustworthy or that recommend enjoyable videos. It's like solitary driving precautions warn, "Stick to the main roads."
