Here's some information on this site about how to catch & tame a feral cat if you should find 1 & want to take it into your home.

I tamed one to a point...she is no longer with us though. She died from Feline Luekemia. It took a lot of patience and caring but she finally did come around. We named her Zoya. She had so much love to give :( We miss her a lot. I had her for 7 years before she passed away. She was never totally tamed though. My husband and I would joke one paw was always in the wild.

:(Exactly, and thats a LUCKY feral, Most end up put down in a shelter or worse. Its better IMHO if they are altered and then released.:dunno:

If you find um young enough its good but difficult, any over 12 weeks I would TNR, (Trap neuter/release) and if disease free put back into Nature. They may not live long healthy lives but at least they probably wont have further tortures that happen to tame cats, happen to them, like De clawing, abandonment, eating a garbage diet or being put down in a shelter. The world is already too full of tame cats searching for homes, most tame kittens born today don't live to see 2, Ferals should IMO be left wild after being altered to prevent more from being born. They've known freedom, and wildness and its better for both the cats and people they remain that way

Some people manage groups of them and thats the best anyone can hope for but its not always possible.:(
