Right now, since I live alone, I only have two, Mipsy and Smoke who are both American Shorthairs, but Mipsy is going to have kittens soon. I already plan to give one each to both of my nieces, and one to my nephew. My sister wants one, and I may give one to parents, since all the kids have moved out. I think I may keep one or two of them, but even if I don't, they're sure to have good homes.
How many cats do you have? And what kind? I'm curious to know.

I have six. Three black and whites, 1 red classy tabby and white, 1 brown classic tabby and 1 creme colored (not sure what it's called). Has Mipsy ever had kittens before? New kittys are always fun.

I currently have one but in the past I have had up to three at a time. My current cat is a three year old tiger stripe. She is very independent and will let you know when she wants some attention which is not very often.

I have five cats. I have one that loves to hunt, she is a fairly long haired, tri colored female. she showed up on my doorstep on a -34 degree, snowy morning crying and yowling at my door, and of course I had to let her in, it was freezing out there and I felt so bad for her, we had fresh snow and couldnt see any tracks as to what direction she had come from, we put up notices at the stores and no one came for her, this was 3 winters ago and she is still here:)

I only have one and that's all I can handle. :p She's a fat, orange tabby cat. :)

We only have one kitty now. I wanted to get a male to keep my female company. But hubby says he can only handle one for now. He's not a natural-born cat lover like me. My cats have had to grow on him.

Our problem is that we have no friends or family in the area where we live, so if we want to go out of town for more than three or four days we have to put the dear ones in a kennel - which adds to the cost of the trip. And I just don't like sending our cat/cats away from their home just because we want to go away.

I'm the same way, Lynn. I hate sending my cat away as well. :S

Yeah me too, we haven't been on a vacation yet, but when we talk about it, the first thing I ask is, "what are we going to do about EJ & Lucy?" I have my sister that I could let stay at our home, but she works so much I have to wonder if she would be home there enough for the cats. I know she would take care of them, but they need to be around somebody too, they don't like it much when we aren't home. LOL...they give us "cattitude" when we come home from work! :D

I love that word! My cat has that written all over her. :p

Not my Gracie! Well, not yet anyways. She's still a baby and in love with her parents (me and my hub). She greets us at the door and wants to rub and be petted and held. I hope she never loses that.

I have 2 at the moment. Lucy and Boo. Lucy is a black & white short hair. Boo is a black tabby (i am assuming cause i see stripes). I adopted Lucy from the Human Society last Feb. Boo was rescued from my daughters boyfriends home. He just showed up one day and they brought him to me. He was in terrible shape, still is not quite up to par yet but we are working on him. I love cats and dogs, but hubby will not let me have a dog yet, so its kittys for me.:)
