Cats & Milk

Do you give your cat(s) milk?

If so, do you give them alot?

Do they drink it?

I never give my cat milk unless I'm eating cereal. She always knows when I'm eating it and she'll sit next to me and watch the bowl. Sometimes she'll swat at my arm and try to knock the bowl out of my hands! Spoiled!

LOL...your cat sounds like me EJ, but whenever I have something that is wrapped in plastic. :D

I have given EJ milk in the past just a little bit of milk & he did seem to like it too. It's weird, but cat's really can't digest milk so giving them alot isn't a good idea. The weirdness of it is when you see a cat, you always think of a bowl of milk & them drinking it up, the reality is it isn't very good for them.

Yeah, that's what I've heard.. So I only let her have a little after I'm done with my cereal. :p

Years and years ago I had a cat that had a very sensitive intestinal system and the vet told me to never give him cows milk, but instead I could give him canned evaporated milk. I would fix him a 1/4 cup canned milk and a 1/4 water and stir it a little.That cat (we called him Fatty) loved his milk and he let you know, under no uncertain terms, if you were late getting it ready for him! He lived to be 20yrs old. The best cat i ever had and he was freebee from an old farmer.

Our cat absolutely loves milk, but she always vomits after drinking it.

We only give her a little tiny bit every once in a while.

Sometimes she also gets it herself, when I have cereal and leave the bowl on my bedroom floor and never bring it downstairs. :D

My Lady really loves milk. When we got her from our neighbor, he told us that the person he got her from originally gave him some chicken & milk for her. So, those are the 2 human foods that she does love.

LOL...she knows when my fiance will go to get his cereal, she runs in to the kitchen watches him put it together, then follows him around the house until he sits down. She just sits in front of him, looking all cute until he gives her a little spoon full. :p
