Do you give your cat(s) any "people food"?

If so, what have they eaten?

Do they have something that they really enjoy eating?

Yes, I give my cat left overs sometimes, lol. She loves icecream and cheese cake. Yum :p

Hmm...well i sorta think it depends on the cat. I have had many cats over the years and some like table scraps and some are strickly cat food eaters. I had a cat once that ate chili beans. Long story short, dog ate the chili, left the beans and the cat came along and ate them. Lucy, my newly adopted kitty, will not eat anything but cat food. Boo, my rescue kitty, is still pretty young, so he tries everything.

That's very true booandlucy. :)

EJ will try most anything. LOL...he's surprised me with some of the things he really likes to eat. He's eaten a little bit of ice cream, he likes the cream filling of snack treats. He goes ape crazy over McDonalds cheesburgers. All I have to do is bring home a Quarter Pounder with cheese & he's all over the bag until I break off pieces of the burger for him. He's the same way with lunchmeat ham, he can eat a couple slices all himself before he gets full.

I never give him that much human food though, I don't want him to get sick.

Now my Lucy, she will sniff anything, but she hasn't eaten or tried any human food we've let her sniff. She's a cat food eater only.

My Brownie will eat almost any fruit I give her. Apples, pears, pineapple, peaches,grapes....she als eats sunflower seeds and peanuts. I have never seen a cat eat fruit but I guess there is first for everything :) Shee will eat a little of ice cream occasionally.

My cat Morphia likes to try try foods - especially dairies - but she has a very sensitive stomach, so I have to be very sparing when she gets a treat. Even wet cat food, which she loves, can make her ill. Skit, on the other hand, is a true street cat who will eat just about anything she can get a hold of. shortly after we got her, I was attempting to eat some peanut butter and bread when she started begging. I tried to ignore her, but she jumped into my lap and bit my mouth to get to the peanut butter :surprised:

Wow! I've never heard of cats eating fruit or peanut butter! To each their own I guess. :)
