Yesterday we got a new TV, so in bringing it up we had the front door open for a little bit. LOL...maybe just about a minute.

Well in that short time, Lucy got out in the front part of the apartment complex. The neighbor told me to make sure that EJ was in the house cause he thought that EJ may have gotten out.

Turned out it was Lucy who got out, she was in the front which is a big hallway so she was safe. For the little amount of time she was out there though, boy was she scared. I was looking all in the house, my fiance was looking in the back outside.

The neighbor knocked on our door told me he found Lucy & she was on the second floor landing. He said he picked her up, but she started to cry loudly so he put her down & came up to get me. I went down to get her & sure enough he was curled up by the neighbor below me front door quietly crying. I picked her up, she grabbed on to me tight & cried a little bit a I walked up the steps. When she did that, I just lost it, I started crying.

I brought her in the house, put her on the bed & she stayed right there on the bed for a good hour relaxing herself from her little adventure. My poor little baby girl, bet she won't stick her nose out the front door anymore.

I'm just glad we found her. :)

Aww, I'm so glad she didn't wonder off too far! Sometimes cats do that and don't find their way home. :( But thank goodness she's okay! :)

Yeah I know Pink, that's really how I found EJ. I think he got out, got lost & found his new home with me.

She was pretty safe because the people in the other apartments don't really use their front doors for her to get outside, but still it was a scary moment.

Lucy is more of an adventurer than EJ is, he's content to go outside with us for a little bit & then go back in the house. Heck he was out in the cold before I found him, he knows he ain't chancing that again. Lucy probably won't go by the front door anymore either.

LOL...I think she was following me around the house (as usual) & because I was rushing to get the door open because the TV was heavy for my fiance I just didn't notice her.

Awww...well I'm glad you found her even if she was scared to death...and it sounds as if you were too. She'll get brave and stick her nose out again....lol!

Hee hee, I bet she will persian hun, she is our little adventurer. Next time I will have to remember to look behind me to make sure she's not following me.

Brownie is like that. She gets scared to go out but every once in awhile she'll take it upon herself and slip out.
