This has to be the most beautiful cat I have ever seen! Looks like a wild cat from out of the jungle somewhere. I ws told not to buy one at a pet store because it runs greater risk of becoming sick. I have no idea how to find a legit breeder.

There is a group of breeders for this cat, they I think are reputable as they sort of would police ine another and not want a bad member. It is a beautiful breed indeed and i have also heard that per stores are not the best place to find them. Try this listing site breedlist.com.

Thank so much for the link will check it out! I wonder why they say pet stores are bad for buying cats? I know one thing they said that they are taken from their mom too early.

I think they are not great for cats or dogs, they are often inbred, overbred, etc. many are from puppy or Kitten "mills", where animals are kept in terrible conditions just to brred as much as possible. I have seen exposes on the news about these things. Not all pet stores are bad, but i think a friend, a reputable breeder, or the animal shelter are the best choices for fining a new friend!
