Krazy About Cats

I would love some ideas on games/toys for my 1 1/2 year old Australian female.
She is one of 5 of my furry friends, 2 being older that don't interact well, 2 others that are the same age that play well but by noon they have gone off to bed and she insists that I play with her. She is soooo persistent even after I spend 20 - 30 mins with her she is constantly batting at me, gets up onto the counters, walks across the keyboard and cries constantly. I have recently become unemployed and she thinks I should spend all my time playing with her. The older she gets the fewer the toys that she really likes. I usually end up putting more energy into the playing than she does. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have tried to get her to fetch and she does run after stuff but then looks at me as if to say "Why did you throw that over here?" HELP!!!!

Have you tried getting some toys that contain cat nip or you can put some fresh cat nip in? Your cat will smell the cat nip & play with the toys on her own trying to get it.

Also, I've seen toy mice that run across the floor. If you have wood floors you can get something like that, set it to go & see if she runs after it.

Do you have a cat house for her? Something that will have levels, a place for her to relax & maybe some hanging toys for her to bat at?

You know what my cats love, milk rings. The rings that come off gallon jugs of milk? OH my, my 3 will play with them all around the house, they even get upset when they are all gone cause they kicked them under the couches or closet doors.
