Hello everyone,
I am a proud mom to a 3 yr old Brown Tabby named Lucy. I adopted her about 5 weeks ago from a local shelter. She was taken to the shelter the morning I went there looking for a kitty. Her other mom was nice but not her other dad. He threatened to shoot her so her mom called the shelter to see if they could help her. The nasty man threatened to shoot her again in the shelters parking lot. thankfully a lady at the shelter heard him and took her from him. I can't imagine what this poor little girl went through. I took one look at her so scared in that cage and when I picked her up she nuzzled against my neck and started to chatter. So I brought her home. I say she picked me. She is adjusting well. I gave her a new name for a new start. She just started playing with a few toys. She is a very very vocal kitty. I love that!! I am hoping to meet other cat owners. I have owned and fostered cats before. For right now Lucy is my only kitty.
