Why doesn't she use it.....

2 weeks ago I bought a play house for Lucy it also has 2 balls hanging on string and a scratching post. I sat with her on the floor showing it to her. She ran away from it. She won't walk by it she wil go the other way. Is she scared of it, Or does she just need more time to adjust?

She may need more time to adjust to it. Does she have any toys that she really likes? If she does, put them in the house, that way if she wants to play with them she will have to go in it in order to get them.

Also, maybe put a few of her favorite cat treats in it. When she does go in it, reward her, tell her she's a good girl, show her that it's OK & the cat house won't hurt her.

Last night I came home and played with Lucy she just started playing with the crochet balls I have made for her. She batted one and it landed in her house she did hop in it to get it. I had to laugh when she got in the house she just looked around and then out both of the doors. She had a look on her face like she wasn't sure if she belonged in there or not. I put a few treats in it to see if at playtime she gets interested.

I also just bought her a pole that has ribbons and a furry fluff ball. After dangling it for awhile in front of her she did start to bat it around. She had a blast!!!!!! hehehe
